Robert Liston's latest novel (Someone She Knew) is a murder mystery about a series of murders at Hinsdale College in Ohio.  Hinsdale will seem famliar to Hiram graduates of a certain age.  The book is available as an e-pub on Kindle, Apple, or Nook.

Chelsea Arnold '10 accepted a teaching position at West Geauga High School.  She has become their new Spanish teacher.  This is also where she completed her student teaching.

News on Jeannine Perry '87

Jeannine Rajewski-Perry '87 accepted the position of dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Longwood University.  She was the program coordinator for the graduate-level Literacy and Culture program through the College of Education and Human Services her second year at Longwood.  She then became the assistant dean until this recent promotion.

A recent article in local newspapers wrote of Dale's service to the Brunswick City Schools.  He was the main reason the school district was able to complete on time and on budget their tax-funded elementary school and high school stadium renovation project.

Update on Jackie Wyse-Rhodes '97

Jackie Wyse-Rhodes '97 has accepted the position of assistant professor of Religion at Bluffton University.  She expects to complete her Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible next year at Emory University in Atlanta.  She holds a master's degree in the same subject from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, as well as a master of divinity degree (with a concentration in biblical studies) from the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana.

Don and I have been enjoying watching our nine grandchildren grow up (ages 14 through 23 years).  Now we have two great-grandchildren (ages 1 1/2 and 4) to enjoy.  We still golf when our aches and pains allow.
