Notes from the Black Lizard Lounge

Posted By Harley C. Mazuk, Friday, January 13, 2012

A note to all my Hiram colleagues, I retired Dec. 31, from 29 years of public service with the federal govt.  I'm working as a fiction writer now--been dabbling in it the past couple years as my career wound down.  My first detective short story, "The Tall Blonde with the Hot Boiler," ran in the Jan. 2011 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.  There are two more coming up.  I'll let you know when they hit the newsstands.

Right now I'm looking for a literary agent for my first novel, White with Fish, Red with Murder.  If you have any agent connections, please let me know.

And even if you don't I look forward to hearing from you.
