First novel published

Posted By Elisabeth M. Hesse, Tuesday, June 1, 2010
I recently published my first (and, I hope, not last) novel, The Network: Convergence.  It's a mystery/spy novel involving a team from an international anti-terrorism organization known as the Network, an organization that subscribes to the 'ends justify the means' approach to national security.  When a mission overseas takes a turn for the worst, these two women find themselves in a race against time to figure out what went wrong.  What they discover along the way is that the past is never truly past, and has a way of coming back when it's least expected.

More information about the book can be found at the website: http://thenetworkconvergence.com/

New Book by a Hiram Grad

Posted By Jennifer L. Hirt, Monday, November 9, 2009
My creative nonfiction book, Under Glass: The Girl with a Thousand Christmas Trees, will be published in Spring 2010 by the University of Akron Press. Under Glass is about the last seven years of my family's well-known Ohio greenhouse (Hirt's Greenhouse and Flowers), which was demolished in 2005 to make way for a corporate pharmacy. Learn more about me and the book at my Facebook author page, http://www.facebook.com/jen.hirt?ref=profile#/pages/Jen-Hirt/161937836905?ref=mf
