Snow Tubing is Back!

As part of our 2017-2018 Family Fun Series, we head back to the snow tubing slopes at Brandywine Ski Resort in Northfield, Ohio. Our special Hiram group tickets are $10 off of the regular price. This event is great for groups of both family and friends.

Now Accepting Alumni Executive Board Applications

The Hiram College Alumni Executive Board (AEB) is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 membership class.  Nominations will be reviewed by the board and selected members will begin their service in the fall of 2018.

Thirty-six alumni are elected into (up to three consecutive) two-year terms as members of the AEB. They meet on campus three times per year and offer advice on programing, events, and activities that will best support the College’s objectives while keeping the desires of the entire alumni body in mind.

Athletics Update 

Men’s Basketball Alumni Game
Join us on Saturday, Jan. 20 for our annual alumni vs. alumni game and recognition of Bill Meyer ’66 by registering below. Don’t forget to stick around and cheer on the Terriers during their 2 p.m. game vs. Oberlin!

Women’s Basketball Alumni Game
Register below to join us for our annual alumni vs. alumni game on Saturday, Feb. 3! Be sure to stay and cheer on the women’s team at their 3 p.m. matchup against Wittenberg. 


Bread & Soup Returns for 36th Year

Since 1983, Hiram College has hosted an annual Bread and Soup meal where students, faculty, and community members can purchase an alternative meal to benefit local charity. Meals take place on Thursdays in the Kennedy Center during January and February.  All are welcome.   


Humans of Hiram

Our new Humans of Hiram spotlight features a different Hiram faculty, staff, student, alumni, or friend each month.  Today we feature Lena LePelley ’19.

Music Professor's Opera

Associate Professor of Voice and Composition Dawn Sonntag, D.M.A, invites you to enjoy her opera titled "Verlorene Heimat" (Lost Homeland). The opera will be performed by the Cleveland Opera Theater on Saturday, Jan. 27 (World Holocaust Memorial Day) and again on Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Maltz Performing Art Center in Cleveland, Ohio.


Professor Sonntag will be interviewed by WCLV, which will air on Jan. 22 at 9:40 a.m. In addition, she will be part of the open forum on Jan. 27 at 10 a.m.
