 HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The Cleveland International Film Festival is a very large, well-attended event that runs on a very tight time schedule. In order to make the night truly enjoyable and carefree, we suggest that you follow these guidelines.

Parking: When available, parking is provided to CIFF attendees free of charge. You must bring your ticket into the theater to have it validated. Festival organizers suggest that you allow an extra 30 minutes travel time to secure your parking space. Follow this LINK for further parking and travel information.

Reception: Your ticket to the reception includes appetizers and your first beverage. It is VERY important that you leave the reception at least 25 minutes before your movie starts. This will allow you to get to the theater in time to acquire your reserved seat. Late arrivals will not be guaranteed a seat.

Films: Ticket holders must be in their seats 15 minutes prior to the film's start time. Seats that are available at the 15 minute mark are released to be sold to people waiting in the stand by line, so it is imperative that you be there on time. When you get to the theater, note the board that lists what theater you are in, or ask a volunteer. They are easily identifiable as they are usually wearing matching t-shirts and headsets.
