Hiram College is hosting a panel discussion, “Views from the Hill” focusing on various aspects of the 2016 national presidential campaign. Q&A will follow the panel discussion. 

Panelists and topics include:

Douglas M. Brattebo, Ph.D, J.D. 
Director of the James A. Garfield Center of the American Presidency &
Associate Professor of Political Science
“Demographic Change, the 2016 Presidential Election, and the State of the Two Main Political Parties”

Vivien Sandlund, Ph.D.
Professor of History
“Race, Gender and Economic insecurity in Contemporary Politics”

James Thompson, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Political Science:
“U.S. Foreign Policy and How it Relates to the Election”

Tickets include a one-hour cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception from 6-7 p.m. followed by our faculty presentations and Q&A.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear a thoughtful discussion on U.S. electoral politics in 2016!
