|Reign Hadsell '26|
Reign Hasdell '26 is the first recipient of the Lifelong Leadership Award. This award is designed to recognize the unsung hero who has dedicated their lifetime to the betterment of his/her community and, in doing so, has made the world a better place. The recipient will have demonstrated a long-term interest or commitment in areas such as community service, volunteerism, philanthropy, government, or religion.
Reign Hasdell has demonstrated an extended interest in community service through his involvement in education and communication. For ten years, he was associated with the Ohio public school system as a teacher in Westlake, Ohio, and as principal of Hiram High School.
He worked overseas for 13 years with the United States Agency for International Development providing service in communication and education, worldwide.
In addition, he helped establish the Hiram Beatification Fund and was a 1976 recipient of the Intercultural Award presented by the Hiram College Alumni Association.
