Nancy Louise Blum graduated in 1975, majoring in theatre. She received her Masters from the University of Pittsburgh and her M.P.H from Columbia University.
In 1985 she joined CARE, which is the world's largest international relief and development organization. Nancy served as Director of Developmental Education where she created educational programs and materials about international development for secondary schools and community groups. While working for CARE, she spent three years in Bangladesh helping provide relief from the effects of a cyclone that hit the city.
Nancy now works as a Public Health Consultant for U.S. Pharmacopeia in which she provides drug information to developing countries. Her interests include theater, swimming, travel, and her children.
