Start your weekend off with a cup of joe and great conversation!

Join fellow Hiramites in Northeast Ohio for our casual Coffee Chat series. Hiram faculty members are meeting with alumni and friends for Saturday morning coffee chats at various locations.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the exciting new directions they are taking with students while keeping Hiram's beloved small college traditions.

We have three events planned in three cities. All events run from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

There is no charge for these events thanks to our sponsor, Liberty Mutual.

You're invited to a special Hiram Night Out at the Country Porch Winery near Warren, Ohio.

Join alumni and friends of Hiram College for an evening of socializing and wine tasting at a century-old horse farm converted into a winery.

You will enjoy a hosted wine tasting by the owners along with heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by Mackenzie Catering in Cortland.

Join us for a unique Hiram Night Out with a Show!

Our spring Hiram Night Out on the west side of Cleveland comes with a show. Join alumni and friends for a Hiram College reception at Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood followed by the comedy play Lend Me a Tenor.

Attendees will enjoy a pre-show wine, beer and heavy hors d'oeuvres reception featuring a special Director's Talk with Scott Spence.

The Alumni Weekend schedule can be tailored to fit a variety of budgets. Some people come just for the free lectures and social gatherings, while others take advantage of the off campus excursions and special meals. There’s even an All-Access Pass that covers two overnight stays and entrance into all paid events and meals. Plus, people who graduated between 2005 and 2015 can spend the night free with the purchase of any paid event on the same day.

Mount St. Joseph University President Named Commencement Speaker at Hiram College
President Tony Aretz
Tony Aretz, Ph.D., president of Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, will be the featured speaker at Hiram College’s 165th commencement exercises scheduled for May 16, 2015.

Hiram College and Mount St. Joseph University developed a special bond in November 2014 when the Hiram Terriers and Mount Saint Joseph Lions women’s basketball teams began the 2014-15 season early in an emotional and inspirational contest to fulfill Mount St. Joseph freshman Lauren Hill’s dream to play in her first collegiate game. Hill was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an inoperable form of brain cancer. Lauren Hill went on to play three additional games in the season and has, to date, raised more than $1.4 million for cancer research.

Hiram College and the Washington Workshops Foundation Partner to Launch the Presidential Leadership Seminar
Garfield Building
The Hiram College James A. Garfield Center for the Study of the American Presidency is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Washington Workshops Foundation. The two organizations will offer a Presidential Leadership Seminar in Washington, D.C. from July 2- 10, 2015. The seminar is open to high school students and costs $1,485.
