Earlier this week, President Lori E. Varlotta, Ph.D., announced a new tuition model at Hiram College. The new tuition model is student focused and offers financial, educational, and career benefits. By reducing fees, offering free summer courses and paid internships, Hiram College continues to make education accessible for students.


Hiram Receives Top Rankings

Hiram College has been recognized as a top college according to the newly released 2020 U.S. News & World Report rankings.  Hiram was ranked number 14 among Midwest Regional Colleges in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges rankings. Additionally, the College ranked fifth for social mobility (a new category), and sixth for best value. Click the button below for more information.

The 2019 edition of Washington Monthly’s College Guide and Rankings has listed Hiram College as number four in the country among colleges and universities that award bachelor’s degrees almost exclusively. Read more here.  


Volunteers Needed!  Help With Your Class Reunion

We’re still looking for volunteers who are interested in planning their upcoming reunion during Alumni Weekend on June 19 – 21, 2020.  If your graduating class ends in a “5” or a “0” you will be celebrating a special reunion. James H. Barrow Field Station in the News

Join Jane O’Brien, education and community outreach coordinator at the James H. Barrow Field Station, as she leads several informational workshops for adults and children throughout the year. This month, her program on Ohio’s native fruit, the pawpaw, was featured in Akron publication, The Devil Strip.
