Election 2012 - Views from the Hill: An Interdisciplinary Discussion with Hiram Faculty
Join us in Valley View as we bring the Hiram College classroom experience to you!


Four Hiram faculty members will give 10 minute lectures and host interdisciplinary discussions around election related topics. You won’t want to miss this timely discussion that extends beyond debating who should win the 2012 Presidential race. Hiram Night out with the President in Boston

President Thomas V. Chema invites Hiram Alumni and Friends to join him for a Hiram Night Out cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception in Boston, MA. Nebraska Nature Tour with Hiram College

Nebraska's Platte River Cranes & Prairie Chickens
Join Hiram College and local guides for an exciting journey this spring! Each year, half a million Sandhill Cranes descend upon the Platte River. By March, 80% of the world's population crowds a 150-mile stretch, the largest gathering of cranes anywhere in the world! Here they rest and feed before continuing on to breeding grounds in Canada, Alaska and Siberia. As an alumnus you can attend this amazing experince! LaTourette Donates Congressional Papers to Hiram

U.S. Rep. Steven LaTourette, (R-Bainbridge), who will retire after 18 years in Congress at the end of the year, will donate his official papers from his time in the House to Hiram College.
The 8-term Capital Hill veteran announced earlier this year that he would retire from the House of Representatives at the end of 2012, and was making the donation to Hiram in part to ensure that the documents remained within the district for use by the people of Northeast Ohio.
